These rules are to be followed, if you are to break any of the rules, you may receive a warning or two. If you continue to break the rules after warnings, you will be banned.
1. USERNAME has to be your character's first and last name ONLY. Your middle name can be included if you want.
Acceptable: Jane Doe
Not acceptable: JaneDoe/Jane_Doe/Jane-Doe/JaneDoe103 ect.
2. Roleplaying is also to be done in paragraphs, PAST TENSE and THIRD PERSON, not second or first in the FORUMS. Try as best as you can to make it a good length. I understand some responses you can't come up with anything. But if you constantly reply with two-three sentences, that is a no.
3. Your CHARACTER is NOT allowed to be any of J.K. Rowling's characters. They also CANNOT be related to them. Every character is to be an original character.
4. Posting goes in order. Say the number is a person, it'd go 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3. Only time it doesn't have to go in order if it's something as big as the Yule Ball or if it's a class. If your topic is open, put "(Open)" at the end of the title. If it's for certain characters, you'd put your name and theirs "(___&___)"
5. When picking your CELEBRITY CLAIM(which is mandatory) for your character, please chose an appropriate person for your character's age. If your character is eleven, don't pick Angelina Jolie, pick someone around the same age. You need to let an admin know who your celebrity claim is.
6. You have fifteen days after you register to post a bio for your character. If you do not post it(you will receive reminder emails) your account will be terminated.
7. Hogwarts students - minimum classes required to sign up for - four
Beauxbatons/Durmstrang students - minimum classes required to sign up for - three
8. Any sexual roleplaying is to be done in PRIVATE MESSAGING ONLY. Any sexual roleplaying can be inferred in the forums, but no more than that.
9. STUDENTS are allowed to be whatever year you please. However, if there is too many students of one year, I might say that you have to pick another year. This goes for all three schools, all three schools will have years 1-7.
10. If you have a character as a professor, please put their age as 25 or older, for other staff, 24 or older.
11. You can have as many characters as you like AS LONG as you keep them with different personalities.
12. Absolutely NO GOD MODDING. You control your character and your character only. If you fight with someone and give them no room to defend themselves, that's God Modding. None of it. you get one warning then a ban on this one.
13. Your avatar is to be a picture of your celebrity claim. If you upload one without telling me your claim, you risk it being deleted after a few days if you fail to let an admin know the celebrity claim.
14. The CHAT(which is at the bottom of the main page) is to be IN CHARACTER. OOC will be shown with ( ). However, if there are two people in chat and the two people wish to talk in OOC only, fine.
