Character background: If there's one thing Haevian hates talking about, it's his parents. He was born in Barcelona where his father was a wizard and his mother a muggle. Both of his brothers, Antonio and Marcellus, are wizards but his sister, Cleo, is not. Haevian grew up disliking his sister greatly, always claiming that she was just jealous of him and his brothers. Eventually, the two began a bitter hatred of each other, which is still present today.
Haevian was always the different one in his family, even though both his brothers were magical just like he was. Haevian never excelled the same way his brother Antonio did, or was as sweet as Marcellus. As the black sheep of the family, he often dabbled in the dark arts rather than anything else.
In the present day, Haevian is a rather lazy professor with unorthodox teaching methods. He is usually late to his own class, sometimes showing up looking like he had just rolled out of bed. He doesn't really take the time to listen to his students, but can be rather harsh on them at times. He often falls asleep when the class is taking tests or shows up to class hung over.
He also has a strange love for coffee, which he picked up on a visit to his mother's. It is the only muggle beverage he seems to be able to stomach.
