Character background: An adopted child, Lumen came from a family of Muggles. Her adoptive parents worked as a surgeon and a nurse in a small hospital in London, which caused Lumen to be alone most of the time, and turn to reading, but it also sparked up her interest in medicine. When the letter came, both of her parents were very supportive. Along with her, they had three more children, all boys, so moments of peace and quiet were rare around the house. That’s why Lumen spent most of her time in libraries. She was sorted into Ravenclaw due to her sharp mind, and was simply over the moon about it. Now she spends most of her time in the common room, reading or working on assignments. She has a dislike of Quidditch, and every kind of sports that involves too much flying about, really, but she willingly pitches in and cheers with the rest of her house when Ravenclaws have a game. Beside libraries and the common room, she often visits the hospital wing, helping out as much as possible.
