Professor Jade took a deep breath before entering her class room. The first day of the year always seemed nerve racking to her; even though she had been a professor for a wile now. She loved teaching, and potions, but that fear of public speaking always managed to sting her. She put on a smile and opened the door.
The students were lounging around the class room happily chatting to their friends, but she cleared her thought to get their attention. "Good morning. Please take your seats, just sit wherever you'd like."
As the class settled, Professor Jade ran through what she was going to say in her mind one more time. "I am Professor Jade, and unless I have this subject thing really messed up, this is potions," there was a few polite chuckles at her feeble attempt at joking. "For our first lesson we will be brewing the Volubilis Potion. Does anyone know something about this potion?" She waited to see if some one would raise their hand.
