Character background: Finlay was born in Irvine, Scotland to her Finnish mother and Scottish father. She also has a younger brother named Bo. She is very close with her family but especially with Bo. She moved to Finland when she was 3 because of her mother's homesickness. Her grandma on her dad's side is a muggle but the majority of her family are wizards. They have a family cat and rat that she doesn't bring to school with her. She also has her eagle owl, Charlie, that she does bring with her. She loves animals and has always found strays and tried to heal them and find them homes. Her mother recommended she think of becoming a healer and decided it would be a good idea. She has made a few acquaintance at Durmstrang but not any close friends. She has always gotten along with her dorm mates but never enough to really be close.
