Character background: Growing up in a poor town in Cork, his mother died in childbirth when she gave birth to his younger sister Orla when he was nine years old. His father died soon after his third year ended, leaving Patrick with Orla and their older brother Sean. The small family was kicked out of their house a little before the end of the same summer, forcing the three siblings on the streets. They currently reside with an elderly muggle couple who knew Patrick's father.
Dispite his difficult past, Patrick has a tendency to be a rather cheerful individual if not a bit pigheaded. He is extremely self assured to the point of egotism, which often irritates his peers. However, because his crippling family and his accidental pushing away of his peers, he is often alone. Since he has very little friends, he usually counts on his chihuahua Brutis to cheer him up. Most in his dormitory makes fun of his dog since it usually didn't count as a masculine dog, however Patrick loves him since it was the only dog he was able to afford.
His humor is usually dry and sarcastic, though many perceive him to be egotistic and irritating.
