Character background:
Born in France, Reims, Nike was known as the cold child to everyone in the village, though few actually knew her. Her parents were the ones who started the rumors. They had told her she didn't need any distractions and was kept from playing with all the other children. The one she dressed back then was very singular. A short black dress and black Mary Jane shoes. She took refuge in her books, finally finding what she likes to call... 'Gods Gift to this Boring World we Call Life.'
When she was smaller, there was only two people she trusted, her Nanny Simone and her Owl Enfer.
Nike was very attached to her Nanny, seeing her as the Mother figure in her eyes. Her mother, Valerie, became jealous and fired Simone in spite. Though she could do nothing about the choker Simone had given her daughter, which later became her security item. Her parents pushed her in all subjects, Math, Charms, Potions, Science, etc. until she became ill with ulcers and was hospitalized where her Mother divorced her Father and both abandoned her. She was 10.
Her personality became everything her parents wanted, cold- detached, but warm all at the same time. She does show emotions, just not many positive ones. Nike has lost all hope in humanity, being proven at every point why we are bad for this world. Herself included.
When she turned eleven the next year, she was sent to Beauxbatons, being it was the closest school, though one of Nike's original choices was Durmstrang. While in school, she's ignored, actually- she doesn't think many people knew her outside of that, 'Weird Book Girl.' As she always carried a glamored comic book with her.
Her peers forget about her, considering also she always wore coke bottled glasses and her hair in french braids, and her Youngers look up to her. She hates History and Charms, finding them both dull and useless. Useless being she can't preform even the smallest Charm without blowing something up.
